Today parkque is a game where people climb over walls and jump down staircases for sport. During WW2 children ran, climbed over walls and jumped down staircases to escape from the German war machine. When this work was displayed one viewer told me a story on how this drawing reminded her of a story her mother told her when she was a young girl. She later returned and purchased this work.
