Hello my name is John
I began drawing at the age of three and never stopped. I have taught myself different drawing techniques by reading everything I could on the subject of art.
Although I have never had any formal artistic training it has not affected my ability as an artist. Currently, I am using a technique that incorporates the use of charcoal powder on paper. I apply the charcoal powder by using a paintbrush. This technique of using a brush gives the drawing the look and feel of a painting. In implementing this technique, I am able to express myself as well as create drawings that make people think. I look for everyday life experiences for inspiration when I am creating a new piece. All the work's that I produce is a one of a kind and I gain a great deal of satisfaction when I am creating it. I have attended several art shows and have had great success with selling my work. As time goes on, I am establishing myself as a artist.
I am currently not only producing one of a kind pieces but also producing pieces on commission. I give the buyer the exclusive right of ownership for their personal collection by producing and selling original works of art. All my drawings are done on museum quality acid free, hand made paper and are available with matting and custom framing for an extra cost.
